Radio veterans Fred Winston and Catherine Johns, who hosted the last morning show at WLS-AM (890) before the ABC-owned station switched to news/talk in 1989, are reuniting for one day next week. On Monday, they'll fill in for WLS morning duo Don Wade and Roma.

Winston, who's been off the air since CBS Radio pulled the plug on oldies at WJMK-FM (104.3) in June 2005, had been on WJMK's Internet and HD Radio outlets until last July. Johns, who left WJMK in 2000, now runs a Positive Changes Hypnosis Center in Chicago with fellow radio alum Karen Hand.
